MEINUNGEN UNSERER KUND*INNEN
"I contacted Xtra Chevaux to try a gelding for dressage but Paul suggested that I would be more suited with Kira, a four-year-old mare. I was surprised the first time I rode her because she was already very advanced for a young mare and she was also very sensible with a good balance and three good paces.
At the time I was not comfortable having a young horse (and a mare), so I just kept trying older horses. However I came back shortly after to ride Kira a second time and I totally fell in love with her. I am very happy that Paul saw that we would get along well.
She is smart, gentle and tries very hard to understand what I want her to do. She has good manners and she is also great with kids – everybody at the stable is just fond of her.
The buying process was very easy and Paul was responsive and very helpful with the paperwork. If I were going to buy a second horse I would definitely contact Xtra Chevaux."
Algorithm & Xtra Niveau
"The first horse I bought from Xtra Chevaux was Jerry (Algorithm), a three star horse, who I found on the internet. Jerry and I got on really well and he helped me a lot through the years.
When Paul rang me up to tell me that he had another horse for me to look at I drove over from Germany right away, which is quite a long drive of about 14 hours. Leo (Xtra Niveau) is a four-year-old with a really good brain on him! He’s a bit cheeky and currently we’re just working on getting him confident and enjoying the sport, which won’t be a problem at all. Our goal for the season is to qualify for young event horse classes and I think he’ll be a great horse in the future. I’m currently riding him at Andreas Ostholt's stable in Germany.
Paul and I have become quite good friends and I really appreciate his advice. When I first bought Jerry I could always come to him with questions and I would absolutely buy another horse from him if he called me up and told me he had something special."
"We bought him as a six-year-old, jumping his first ever show in Mijas about three years ago now. He was only broken as a six-year-old and he’s only nine now. When you think about it he hasn’t been jumping long at all.
We’ve had to do everything a bit quick with him but he’s now really starting to come of age. I’m taking him to a Nations Cup in a couple of weeks in Denmark. I’m very excited about that, it’s my first Senior Nations Cup and of course it’ll be the horses as well.
You’re not really meant to have favorites but if I had to… he’s awesome! He gives me the best feeling I ever had going over a fence. And once I get the rideability, that’s what I’m still working on everyday, I just try to get him riding nicer and softer and he’s improving every day.“
